I am a passionate journalist, a successful professor by accident and a freelance writer by desire. I made my humble beginnings as a cub reporter for an evening newspaper 30 years back. After one year into journalism, I shifted my base from the street to the editing desk. Continuously for Venkat Pulapaka writer20 years I worked in various English-language newspapers in India, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Then  I switched professions and went into teaching at the University-level. After eight and a half years of professorship in media studies, I returned to print media and worked in a senior position in a newspaper for two years. Finally, in 2013 I decided to become a home-based freelance writer. Throughout my career I had been associated with issues like development, economy, agriculture, governance, information technology, media studies, health and history.  I have travelled extensively across India. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Political Science and Public Administration and a Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism. I live in the city of Hyderabad, which is located in the South of India.

Ellen WilsonEllen Wilson  [email protected]

I wrote my first story, which I bound as a tiny book, at the age of five and began my professional writing career at the age of 15 with a feature about a local farmer who still used mules to plow. I became editor of my college paper at 17 and editor of my tiny hometown paper in rural Bowdon, Georgia, at 19. I earned a bachelor of arts in communications on the ten-year plan, having dropped out for a period to pursue journalism full time. I’ve written on countless topics, but news remains my true love. Today, I freelance, writing, editing, producing graphics and designing web pages. In my spare time, I enjoy following politics, reading, writing fiction, painting and sewing.

Terry Baron [email protected]

Terry BarronI have a background in journalism and an avid interest in politics, working with federal and provincial political parties for over thirty years.  A non-fiction writer for over twenty years, I have recently gone freelance. As well, I have been writing fiction all of my life and am currently working on a novel loosely based on my thirteen years living and working in Asia.  I earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Communications from the University of Alberta in Canada and spent a number of years in the IT field before moving to journalism, writing for three different newspapers. Feeling the need for an adventure, I then moved to Asia to work in communications as a consultant.  I am currently living on Canada’s east coast where I share seven acres of woodland and an enormous house with numerous cats of questionable origin.
