Tesla Motors can expect a response from President Obama's administration, now that the “We The People” petition has 100k signatures met and surpassed. This petition was created a month ago in order to protect the electric car manufacturer from opposition. The petition contains language saying Tesla Motors cannot be prevented by States from selling cars direct to customers.
