“A number 6 with a large Coke, please.”
“Uh, sorry. We don’t have that anymore.”
Those are words one might hear at their local McDonald’s starting in January.
However, it’s uncertain if the number 6 (Whatever the hell that may be) is going anywhere, because McDonald’s hasn’t announced which items they plan to trim from their menu.
The Golden Arches will 86 eight items off its current menu in an effort to bounce back from dismal sales numbers in 2014.
No need to worry, though.
The Big Mac, chicken nuggets, and French are not going anywhere. Likewise, breakfast, which is actually the company’s best seller, isn’t going anywhere either.
McDonald’s hopes to simplify their menu by eliminating some recently added items that haven’t sold so well.
Additionally, complex items that require intricate preparation will be removed from the menu in an attempt to lessen drive-thru wait time and eliminate complaints.
Did “intricate preparation” just make its way into an article about McDonald’s food?
Anyways, it’s still unknown which items will get the axe.
There has been some speculation from fast food insiders, though.
For example, some say the one of the two very-identical double cheeseburgers that McDonald’s offers will get the cold nod.
The dollar-menu may also see some significant reductions and alterations.
Likewise, don’t be surprised if the McWraps get McLiminated.
