The territorial conflict in the Ukraine continues to spark as the Pro-Russian, separatist leader Alexander Zakharchenko was sworn in this week as head of the breakaway government in the eastern part of the country. Malaysian Opposition Trial Soon Over

The leader of the political opposition and member of the Malaysian parliament Anwar Ibrahim, 67 years old, will likely be sentenced this Thursday, October 30th, in the reoccurring sodomy trial the Malaysian government has pursued against him. Yasukuni Again Complicates EA Relationships

It has been announced today that the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has sent a ritual offering to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine today. Additionally, several major Japanese politicians, including a cabinet minister, have announced that they intended to visit the shrine this Friday. Ebola Patient Dies in Germany

A Sudanese member of the United Nations medical team in Liberia who had become infected with Ebola has died in Germany today. The 56-year-old man had been evacuated to Germany last Thursday and had received intensive treatment at the St. Georg hospital in Leipzig. He had tested positive for Ebola on October 6th. More Troubles for American Ebola Patient

The first America-diagnosed Ebola patient now has more troubles heaped upon his feverish shoulders. Liberia has announced that they plan to prosecute the man for lying on his airport questionnaire. The man, Thomas Eric Duncan, has answered two questions during the screening process claiming that he had not come into contact with an individual infected with Ebola. However, this was not accurate.
